The short version

I build businesses, and I record the conversations behind them. Franchise Batao came out of a pattern I noticed early: plenty of people in India want to own something, very few know how the franchise route actually works — what a good brand looks like, what the numbers really are, and what happens in year two when the launch buzz is gone.

Answering those questions one person at a time became a platform. Somewhere along the way I realised the most useful answers weren't mine — they belonged to the founders, franchisees, operators and experts I was calling anyway. So I started pressing record.

The two shows

Shivani Agarwal Talks is the wider room. Entrepreneurs, experts, professionals, creators and people with a story that deserves more than a caption. We talk about the decision that changed everything, the year nobody posts about, and what they'd tell someone starting today.

BizTalk by Shivani is the narrower one. Entrepreneurship, business strategy, startups, franchise opportunities, leadership, marketing and success stories — with the specifics left in. Margins, break-even months, hiring mistakes, what a franchise agreement actually commits you to.

Shivashish

Alongside the media work, I run Shivashish — a natural stone products brand dealing in stone bracelets and products associated with traditional Indian practices and wellbeing. It's a slower, more tactile business than the rest of my work, and that's exactly why I love it.

Writing and speaking

Every episode becomes a full article, because insight shouldn't be locked inside a 55-minute video. Beyond that, I speak at founder meet-ups, franchise expos and women-in-business forums on franchising, content-led brand building and starting small without staying small.
